06.08.12, Tert.am, Restoration of Armenian church of the 6th century launches

 The restoration of St. Mary Church of the 6th century has launched in Odzun village of Armenia’s Lori province, a statement from Hovhannes Imastaser Catholicos Odznetsi charitable foundation says.
The project is being implemented by private means, in accordance with a memorandum signed among Armenian Apostolic Church, Ministry of Culture and the charitable foundation.
“By the end of the year we are planning to restore the monument with two arches and pass to the church’s dome,” Levik Ghukasyan, CEO of LevGuk construction company implementing the works, said.
According to the agreement signed with the charitable foundation the works are intended to be completed during 18 working months, six months each year, during warm weather.
